Acceptable use
iPalette is offered free of charge for personal and commercial design work. You may:
- Generate, save, and share colour palettes created with the tools.
- Copy HEX, RGB, HSL, and CMYK values for use in your own projects.
- Reference the Site in tutorials, blog posts, and educational material with appropriate credit.
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of the Site.
- Scrape content, data files, or page output in a way that places unreasonable load on the server.
- Republish substantial copies of the Site's written content (such as palette guides, tool documentation, or policy pages) without permission.
- Use the Site to distribute malware, phishing pages, or unlawful material.
- Misrepresent the Site, its operator, or its content in a way likely to mislead other users.
Intellectual property
The Site's written content, layout, code, visual design, and original palette collections are protected by applicable copyright and related rights, and are owned by the iPalette operator or its licensors.
- Colour values and HEX codes are objective facts and not owned by anyone.
- Named CSS colours (for example, "Alice Blue" or "Cornflower Blue") follow the CSS Color Module specifications, which are open standards.
- Written articles and palette descriptions on the Site remain the property of iPalette. You may quote short extracts for non-commercial or editorial purposes with attribution and a link back to the source page.
- User-generated palettes created through the generator belong to you. iPalette makes no claim on palettes you build.
Third-party content and links
The Site may include links to external websites (for example, from the Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy). iPalette has no control over third-party sites, does not endorse them, and accepts no responsibility for their content, availability, or practices. Review the terms and privacy notices of any site you visit.
Advertising
The Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and its partners. Ads are labelled as such where required. Your interactions with advertisements are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the advertiser and the ad network. iPalette is not responsible for the goods, services, or statements made by advertisers.
No professional advice
Content on the Site — including colour-psychology notes, accessibility explanations, and design recommendations — is provided for general educational purposes. It is not legal, medical, financial, or professional accessibility-auditing advice. Designers working on regulated products (medical devices, safety-critical interfaces, public-sector services) should verify colour and contrast decisions against the standards that apply to their domain.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. iPalette does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iPalette, its operator, and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iPalette and its operator from any claim, liability, or expense arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
